Since launching in 2016 GVOPHL has hosted over 60 social and philanthropic events in the Philadelphia Area. We also use our platform to let our subscribers know about events we feel they would enjoy.
We partner with companies and organizations that see the value in helping to create social spaces where people can authentically engage with each other.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
Founder James Jones is Philadelphia native, foodie and culture enthusiast. James noticed that there weren't many spaces that were catering to people who looked like him and wanted to create the vibes that he enjoyed while attended Florida A&M University and socialising in other cities that wasn't present in Philadelphia from a cultural standpoint.
Text messages to friends to meet up at a places for good vibes turned into an email chain of hundreds of people. This led to James curating his first official engagement event in 2014.
After the success of that initial event James started to independently curate events and consult with organizations before officially launching GVOPHL in 2016.
Since launch in GVOPHL has created over 60 events in the Philadelphia Area.
